God Knew What He Was Doing

God knew what He was doing
When he sent you here.
He created you special
Then he sent you, dear.

He knew it would be difficult
And problems would abound,
But he knew that when He sent you
Answers would be found.

He knew that when He sent you
Our lives would be so touched
So he created you special, and
You have given us so much.

You have brought us sensitivity
Love, awareness and faith.
You have taught us to be gentle
And not to judge in haste.

Our lives have been uplifted
Since He sent you to be near,
For God knew what He was doing
When he sent you here.
