I began writing when times got tough, as an outlet for the myriad of emotions and an expression of my profound love for Stacie, my third child and my one and only little girl. The early works are full of sadness and frustration as they mirrored what was so deep in my heart.  As Stacie grew, so did my outlook and my understanding of the true meaning and importance of her life.  There are vast expanses when there was no time to write, as we were so caught up in the everyday challenges of raising a family and meeting her many special needs.  Today, when I write about Stacie, my message is full to the brim of the greatest kind of joy one could imagine.  We have come full circle from questioning how we could live with Stacie to realizing we couldn’t live without her.  I look forward to contributing more to the more hopeful chapters of this inevitable journey of love.
